PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (KGO) -- Some of golf's biggest names will join athletes from other sports and entertainers today for the start of practice rounds at the AT&T National Pro-Am.

San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey will debut this year as one of the celebrities hitting the links alongside the Pacific. Posey admitted to the Mercury News that he's never taken a formal golf lesson. He also doesn't have an established handicap. Posey grew up in Georgia and says he once shot around 90, at Augusta National, that's the home of the masters!

ABC7 sports anchor Mike Shumann will be at Pebble Beach for the 49ers/Giants shootout Tuesday and the celebrity shootout starring Bill Murray on Wednesday.
