PETALUMA, Calif. -- Nearly 3,000 PG&E customers have their power back after an outage that started this morning in southeast Petaluma, a utility spokesman said.
A power outage that disrupted service for 2,936 customers was reported shortly before 11 a.m., PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.
The impacted customers were in an area from east of Lindberg Lane to Lakeville Highway and south to the Petaluma River, he said.
Power was restored shortly after 1 p.m., according to Guidi.
PG&E crews determined the outage was caused by equipment failure at the Lakeville substation, he said.
