SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A longtime fixture will soon serve its last round of drinks and meals along the San Francisco waterfront.

Generations of locals and tourists have enjoyed Sinbad's at Pier 2, just south of the Ferry Building.

Sinbad's landlord, the Port of San Francisco, wants the restaurant gone by March 21.

Officials say Sinbad's has been late paying rent, and has even bounced some checks. Health inspectors have also issued warnings about food safety issues.
