Bad pump to blame for sickening dozens at Antioch Water Park

ANTIOCH, Calif. (KGO) -- A bad pump is to blame for an incident that sickened 34 people at the Antioch Water Park.

According to Contra Costa Health Services, a concentrated amount of pool chemicals was inadvertently pumped into one of the pools on June 18.

Seventeen children were taken to the hospital and released.
