SANTA CLARA COUNTY, Calif. -- Forward progress has been stopped on the Mines Fire burning in Santa Clara County on Sunday evening, according to CAL FIRE.

The fire has held at 132 acres and 10% containment, CAL FIRE said.

The blaze is burning in the area of Mines and San Antonio Valley roads near the juncture of Alameda and Santa Clara counties. It was first reported just after 2 p.m.

People are asked to avoid the area.
