'Dancing With the Stars' champ Alfonso Ribeiro hosting episode tonight

LOS ANGELES (KGO) -- "Dancing With the Stars" Season 19 champion Alfonso Ribeiro will host Monday night's episode in place of Tom Bergeron.

The long-time host posted Sunday night on Twitter that he won't be hosting the show Monday night because he needs to spend time with his ailing father.

Bergeron thanked fans for all their support and said he would share their "lovely' tweets with his father.
