Emergency crews respond to Pittsburg Police Department for medical aid call

PITTSBURG, Calif. (KGO) -- Police are investigating an incident at the Pittsburg police station after emergency crews responded Thursday for a medical aid call.

SKY7 video from above the station showed crime scene tape surrounding the area.

The fire department was called to the station about an hour earlier for medical aid, though it was not immediately clear why. Two ambulances were also dispatched to the scene.

The ambulances have since left, and the incident is now being handled as a police investigation.

Authorities have not released additional details. Further information was not immediately available.
