Here's what you're allowed to bring inside World Cup match starring Team USA at Levi's Stadium
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- If you're a lucky ticketholder for Wednesday's World Cup match at Levi's Stadium or San Francisco Bay Area stadium -- starring team USA -- you already know to leave plenty of time to get inside the stadium.
But another thing that can hold you up? The security check
If you show up with prohibited items, it could mean a long walk back to your car to lock up your stuff or dumping them in the trash.
When it comes to bags, fans are able to bring clear bags that are no larger than 12 inches by 6 by 12, including backpacks, fanny packs or belt bags, purses, and other bags.

The only exception to a non-transparent bag is a clutch bag smaller than 4.5 in to 6.5 in -- about the size of a hand, according to the FIFA website.
These approved bags must be clear and made of plastic, vinyl, or pvc material.
Another important guideline to note is about water bottles
In early June, FIFA announced that reusable water bottles would not be allowed into world cup stadiums, citing safety reasons.
This caused an outcry as fans -- and even the former UK prime minister -- denounced it as a "Money grab" by the organization, noting FIFA's monetary interest in selling drinks inside. FIFA was also criticized for potentially putting fans' health at risk as they watch games in the hot summer sun.
FIFA quickly reversed the decision, saying that now fans are allowed to bring: "One soft, plastic, 20-ounce, factory-sealed, disposable water bottle" into any match in the United States or Canada.
But "Hard sided, reusable water bottles" are still not permitted "Due to safety and security reasons." So leave your Stanley cup at home.

Here are a few of the other things you can bring
- Binoculars shorter than 6 inches (case prohibited)
- Blankets
- Cameras with 3-inch lenses or shorter (no lights, tripods, selfie-sticks or monopods)
- Diaper bags accompanying a child
- Flags smaller than 2' x 3' (No Poles). They cannot be attached to the facility in any way.
- Plastic water bottles (factory sealed, no-alcohol, less than 24 ounces)
- Reusable transparent water bottles (no-alcohol, less than 24 ounces)
- Plastic water bottles (sealed)
- Seat cushions
- Strollers (contact the nearest Playmaker if in need of storing)
- Sunscreen & hand-powered misters
- Umbrellas (no obstruction of other fans view)
