'King of the Hill' returns from 15-year hiatus with season 14'

The king returns in this Hulu revival!

After a 15-year hiatus, "King of the Hill" is back for its 14th season, which follows Hank and Peggy Hill, who return home to Arlen, Texas, after spending years in Saudi Arabia building up their retirement fund.

Much of the original cast is returning for the new season, and they couldn't be more thrilled.

Kathy Najimy, (voice of Peggy) told On The Red Carpet, "It's one of the best jobs most of us have had. I'm old, so I've had a lot of jobs, but I love this job so much."

"It's safe to say that 'King of the Hill' is one of all of our favorite shows that we've done," said Lauren Tom (voice of Minh and Connie).

Pamela Adlon (voice of Bobby) added, "That excitement gives us the juice to keep creating the show."

In the revival, Hank and Peggy's son Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane.

"We get to see them aged up, which is something animated shows don't do that often. But we're doing it - Aged up, and they come back - And Bobby's a grown man now. And so, we get to see them experiencing a new chapter of life," showrunner Saladin K. Patterson explained about the Hills.

But some things are still the same, Toby Huss (voice of Dale) joked, "They're different, except for Bill, he's the same guy."

"And that's comforting," Stephen Root (voice of Bill) chimed in. "The show always offered comfort, and I think it can offer comfort to new viewers as well as old."

Upon their return, Hank reconnects with his old pals Dale, Boomhauer and Bill, and takes in all of the new changes that have come to Arlen since he left.

Despite those changes, Patterson ensured the creative team "really went out of our way to make sure that any growth that happened is the growth that should have happened to these characters," with the new season acting as "a love letter to 'King of the Hill.' It really is, and we hope the fans feel that way as well."

All 10 episodes of season 14 of "King of the Hill" join the 13 original seasons on Hulu.
