Court documents obtained by ABC7 News show the Monterey Boulevard home had been in foreclosure since February of 2024, when the family was more than $200,000 behind in mortgage payments.

Other documents show they had been in default since March of 2022.

The home was sold at public auction in September 2024.

Records show the couple previously owned Orbit Coffee, a cafe and roastery that once had three locations in Oakland that had closed.
