San Jose child hospitalized after suffering life-threatening injuries; police investigating

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- San Jose police swarmed a neighborhood Wednesday after a child was found unresponsive and not breathing.

First responders were called to a home on Lancelot Lane just before 10 a.m.

Fire officials say the child had difficulty breathing and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The police investigation is ongoing.

ABC7 Eyewitness News cameras saw workers with Child Protective Services at the scene.
