Man and woman found dead with gunshot wounds in Oakland, police say

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Police are investigating the deaths of two people shot in Oakland on Saturday.

OPD says the shooting happened around 11:15 a.m. in the area of Skyline Boulevard and Skyline Circle.

Police say they found a man and a woman dead with gunshot wounds.

The area is blocked off and police surrounded a car off the side of the road.

The names of the shooting victims are being withheld pending notification to next-of-kin.
