SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The San Francisco Giants' plan to redevelop an area south of AT&T Park will be required to include affordable housing, if one supervisor gets her way.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Jane Kim plans to introduce a measure Tuesday to cap the height of the proposed buildings and require the team dedicate more space to low-income residents.

The Giants are paying for the project, but it's being built on public land leased to the team.

Kim intends to place the measure on the November ballot.
