Two people have been critically injured after a fire erupted at a building in San Francisco on Connecticut Street and 25th in Potrero Hill.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Two people have been critically injured after a fire erupted at a building in San Francisco on Connecticut Street and 25th in Potrero Hill.

Firefighters say a construction worker was at the right place, at the right time and helped rescue one person. A firefighter helped save another victim.

The fire has been put out and the cause is under investigation.
