SAN JOSE, Calif. -- A man was killed in a rollover crash in San Jose early Monday morning, police said.
Officers responded at 2:33 a.m. to the Hillsdale Avenue on-ramp from the Almaden Expressway.
Police said a 2003 Chevy Tahoe was exiting the Almaden Expressway and was speeding when the car failed to negotiate a curve in the road.
The Tahoe struck a curb and rolled over, ejecting the driver from the car, who died at the scene, police said.
One passenger suffered minor injuries and another ran away from the crash scene on foot, police said.
Police said speed may have been a factor in the crash but it's unclear whether alcohol or drugs also played a role.
It is the 32nd traffic fatality of 2015, police said.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Detective Kevin Cassidy at (408) 277-4654.
