Search continues in San Jose for escaped suspect in handcuffs who fled bail bondsman

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- A San Jose felon wanted for burglary and assault is still on the loose Thursday afternoon.

David Nghounoi was wearing handcuffs when he bolted from a bail-bondsman escorting him to the Santa Clara County Jail Wednesday afternoon.

Police searched the area for six hours before calling off the search.

Nghounoi is wanted on two felony warrants.one of them for assault with a deadly weapon.
