San Jose Police arrest possibly armed man in domestic dispute

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Residents in a San Jose neighborhood were advised to stay in their homes while police responded to reports of a man inside a home with a weapon.

Residents in the 1100 block of Berkshire Drive told ABC7 they were not allowed to leave their homes, and that officers had their guns drawn. Sergeant Enrique Garcia with the San Jose Police said the officers were responding to a family disturbance involving a woman and her son, who fled the scene before officers arrived.

ABC7's David Louie was on the scene and reported that the individual was taken into custody.
