SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- San Jose police announced the arrest of 25-year-old Christopher Uchicua in connection with the fatal hit-and-run on Senter Road Sunday night. Police believe the victim, 51-year old Son Nguyen, may have been riding a bike when he was hit.

The following night, a pedestrian was critically injured by a hit-and-run driver on Senter Road. The woman driver who hit the man in that case took off, but returned to the scene two hours later and was arrested.

Senter Road is a six-lane road and the speed limit is 40 miles per hour, but police say drivers routinely go 50 miles per hour or higher.
