NOVATO, Calif. (KGO) -- In the North Bay, residents and potential commuters now have a completely different appreciation for what it means to be waiting for a train.

"I have been expecting since last year," said Surinder Sroa of Lotus of India. "But they keep postponing."
Sroa, a restaurant owner in San Rafael is somewhat frustrated by the irregular service of previous trains outside his front door.
