SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Nate Thurmond died Saturday at age 74 after fighting leukemia.
For years, he contributed to ABC7's "After the Game" basketball show alongside sports anchor Larry Beil.
Nate's illness kept him from working the finals this year, but he really wanted to do the show despite how he felt. Larry Beil shares his memories of his friend and co-host.
