Nick Bonino heading back to Pens in trade from Sharks

Forward Nick Bonino is heading back to Pittsburgh where he won two Stanley Cups with the Penguins.

San Jose traded him for fifth- and seventh-round picks in the 2023 draft.

The Canadiens are playing third party broker to take on a portion of Bonino's salary and get defenseman Tony Sund and a 2024 the fifth-round pick in return.
