Boxing legend Muhammad Ali has died at the age of 74.

Born Cassius Clay in 1942, Ali took up boxing at the age of 12 in his hometown of Louisville, Ky. He would go on to earn the nickname "The Greatest of All Time," known for his personality and political activism outside of the boxing ring in addition to his achievements in the ring.
