"Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro," "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," "Celebrity Family Feud" and more get premiere dates this summer on ABC!
As "Jeopardy!" airs classic episodes from its vault, the team a few weeks ago selected the first "Celebrity Jeopardy!" episode that ever aired, and it featured Regis Philbin. The episode is now airing as a tribute to Philbin.
Philbin died Friday, just over a month before his 89th birthday. He died of natural causes, according to a family statement.
As the Guinness Book of World Record holder for the most broadcast hours logged by a TV personality, Regis Philbin's life and career have many chapters.
Philbin said he saw "getting the best out of your guests" as "a specialty."
It's been 20 years since "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" first became a mega-hit on ABC, and now Jimmy Kimmel is getting ready to host an anniversary run.
