Silicon Valley tech leaders meet with Trump
Tech giants like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and more joined President-elect Donald Trump and his team for a summit in Trump Tower Wednesday.

NEW YORK (KGO) -- Silicon Valley leaders sat down with President-elect Donald Trump Wednesday in a summit that brings together former foes.[br /][br /][b]RELATED: [url HREF="http://abc7news.com/entertainment/kanye-west-visits-donald-trump-at-trump-tower/1653840/[br /]" TARGET="" REL=""]Kanye West visits Donald Trump at Trump Tower[/url][/b][br /][br /]Many tech leaders backed Hillary Clinton in the presidential race.[br /][Ads /][br /]It was a who's who of tech marching into Trump Tower Wednesday. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who was just named to the administration's advisory team and Google's parent company Alphabet's CEO Larry page all accepted Trump's invitation to the round table.[br /][br /]The summit aims to improve the rocky relationship between candidate Trump and the tech community.[br /][br /]Trump has criticized Apple for making products outside of the United States and Musk has questioned the President-elect's character. There was no sign of tension as Trump promised to support trade and innovation.[br /][Ads /][br /]Venture Capitalist Paul Holland says it makes sense for tech leaders to come to the table.
