White humpback whale, thought to be one of four in world, caught on camera

Monday, July 6, 2015
A white humpback whale spotted over the weekend is believed to be Migaloo, the most famous of the four known whales of its kind.
The whale was sighted after a group of whale surveyors approached a black humpback whale and found it swimming alongside a white whale.
It is believed to be Migaloo because of its distinctive dorsal fin. Migaloo is usually spotted near Australia, but this spotting was in New Zealand's Cook Strait.
