WALNUT CREEK; Calif. (KGO) -- A Walnut Creek home with extensive fire damaged listed for $850,000 and has a sale pending within three days of the post date.
"This property was listed at 850 and it went for significantly over list price," said Melinda Byrne, realtor for Key Realty. "We have a lot of investors and contractors out there looking for properties like this. I had eight offers that came in. I probably had over 75 to maybe up to 100 phone calls, emails, and texts on this property."
The property is located in a quiet Walnut Creek neighborhood close to walking trails, Mount Diablo, shopping, and more.

According to News24-680, fire crews responded to two house fires at the property three days apart last September.
"It was pretty unbelievable that a tear down would go for that kind of cash right now," said Liz Mclean, Walnut Creek resident. "I mean, I guess we are California, but that is a lot of money for a tear down."
The once four bedroom, single family home with a pool is listed as ''the potential is limited only by imagination."
Listing agent Melinda Byrne is still receiving back-up offers on the property.
"To me, it really has so much to offer when so much is left undone," said Byrne. "You get to put your own mark on it. Unless you are a 100 percent seasoned person, you are going to need a contractor, an architect, and a designer. And so the wording is there because that is what it is going to take."
