CHENGDU, China (KGO) -- This may be hard to believe, but it's possible that Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is more popular in the off-season than when he is on the court! For a third straight summer, Curry and Under Armour are taking part in a tour of Asia, which continued Monday in Chengdu, China.

Throngs of fans welcomed him over the weekend in Beijing. He's there for a weeklong training camp to teach basketball and life skills to children.

Here's a look as enthusiastic fans welcomed Stephen Curry to Beijing. For a third straight summer, the basketball star and Under Armour are taking part in a tour of Asia, which continued Monday in Chengdu.

The tour will continue with upcoming stops in Hangzhou, China and Seoul, South Korea

The NBA is the most-followed sports league in China, with more than 115 million social media followers.
