AccuWeather Forecast: Chance of light drizzle overnight

Takeaway of the Day
Despite the presence of widespread high clouds, this has been another warm to hot day. High temperatures ranged from mid-60s at the coast to lower 80s near the bay to mid-90s inland.
And it feels a bit muggy because of a flow of monsoonal moisture coming up from our south.
Tonight, we will see a continuing flow of mid and high level clouds across the Bay Area, and the moisture associated with these clouds might possibly produce some light, patchy drizzle in the overnight and early morning hours.

A Look Ahead
Our current warming trend will continue through the first few days of the week ahead with high temperatures peaking in the mid-70s at the coast, 90 degrees around the bay shoreline, and near 100 degrees inland. This spike in temperatures brings with it a moderate heat risk and increased fire concerns. There is also a slight chance of dry lightning inland tomorrow, if there is sufficient instability in the atmosphere, Follow the usual hot weather tips: Stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to the heat, and seek shade when outside.
