A cooling trend starts today with temperatures cooling by about 4-6 degrees for the bay and inland communities. The marine layer deepened overnight resulting in cloudy, foggy conditions this morning. Cloud cover will persist throughout the region throughout the day today with some pockets of sunshine inland this afternoon.

A Look Ahead
This cooling trend will continue as we approach the weekend. Cooler temperatures are expected along with partly cloudy skies throughout the region. The gradual cooling trend will level off by Sunday.
