AccuWeather Forecast: Fog spreads across parts of bay, coast overnight

Takeaway of the Day
A Beach Hazards Statement is in effect until 5 p.m. Saturday as hurricanes in the Pacific are sending us a southerly swell. This is increasing our risk of sneaker waves and strong rip currents. Expect breakers up to ten feet in favored areas. Overnight, fog will spread across parts of the bay from the coast. It will linger at some of our coastal areas into the afternoon. Otherwise, expect sunny and warmer weather with highs in the mid 60s to the mid 90s.

A Look Ahead
It will be heating up later this week with temperatures reaching the upper 90s to low 100s in our inland areas bringing increasing heat risk and fire danger. The coast will remain comfortable.
