Takeaway of the Day
We've had bright sunshine and beautiful blue skies today, but we are also moving into a fire weather pattern. Relative humidity is critically low, and wind gusts are intensifying.
These are the ingredients for high fire danger, and as a result, a RED FLAG WARNING will be in effect from 11 a.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Thursday across the entire Bay Area.
The Look Ahead
Apart from the very serious concern about fire danger, the next few days will be characterized by bright, sunny skies and warmer than average afternoon temperatures for early November.
By Friday, the RED FLAG WARNING will have expired, winds will have diminished, and humidity will have increased.
The weekend will bring a much different pattern.
We can expect increasing clouds, a minor cooldown, and chances of drizzle Saturday and Sunday followed by the probability of rain next Monday.
