Our heat wave begins today which will last through the weekend. For areas away from the coast, this will be the hottest weather in nearly two years.

Take it easy out there this afternoon, stay hydrated, find ways to stay cool, and never leave people/pets inside cars.

Heat Advisories and Excessive Heat Warnings will be in effect. Highs will range from the lower 70s to 110 degrees inland.

The Look Ahead

Our heatwave will continue for the rest of the week. A Heat Advisory and an Excessive Heat Warning will be in effect for most of the Bay Area (except for the immediate coastline). Highs Inland will be 100+ for the rest of the week. You want to stay hydrated and find ways to stay cool. For the fireworks forecast on the 4th, expect clear skies in the evening with warm temperatures in the 70s & 80s.
