AMBER Alert canceled after Antioch boy found safe

ANTIOCH, Calif. (KGO) -- Antioch police canceled an AMBER Alert for a 1-year-old boy named Ricardo Sanchez after he was safely located in San Joaquin County Sunday evening.

Police were searching for a suspect named Ricardo Sanchez Gomez, 26, who was described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police said Sanchez Gomez was driving a 2011 dark grey Subaru Forester with a California license plate 6RTV690 when the AMBER Alert was issued.
