Suspicious package clear on Market Street in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A suspicious package closed a portion of Market Street in San Francisco Thursday.

Officials say the package was spotted around 7:58 p.m. Thursday evening at the 700 block of Market Street.

The area was cleared for the San Francisco police and bomb squad to investigate.

Officials deemed the scene clear around 10:30 p.m.
