FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KGO) -- A shooting at a Fairfield home that left two people dead early Wednesday morning is being investigated as a likely murder-suicide, police say.
The shooting happened on Woolner Avenue before 12:30 a.m. Police responded to reports of two people injured and discovered a man and woman dead, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Detectives and crime scene investigators are actively investigating the incident.
The identities of the two people killed have not been released pending notification of next of kin.
