Hayward police investigating shooting in front of Lucky grocery store as a homicide

HAYWARD, Calif. (KGO) -- One person was shot near a supermarket in Hayward on Saturday.

Police say the shooting happened just after 9 p.m. near the Lucky store on Mission Boulevard.

Hayward police said late Sunday morning that they were investigating the shooting as a homicide.

There is no word on any suspects or arrests.
