2 killed after being hit by train in Berkeley

BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Two people are dead after being hit by a train in Berkeley.

Police are investigating, but as of now, the cause of the crash is not known. It happened a little after 8 pm. There may still be some residual delays for Amtrak trains.

The coroner has not released any information about the identity of the victims.
