Multiple accidents snarl I-80 commute in East Bay

SAN PABLO, Calif. (KGO) -- Multiple accidents snarled the commute on I-80 in the East Bay early Wednesday morning.

In San Pablo, part of I-80 eastbound is back open after a big rig crashed earlier this morning. The California Highway Patrol closed off three lanes of the freeway. The truck driver suffered minor injuries.

In Hercules, a multi-vehicle overturn accident was cleared from westbound lanes of I-80. All lanes were briefly blocked by the accident earlier this morning.
