Al Gore continues fight against climate change with new film in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Former Vice President Al Gore was in San Francisco continuing his fight against climate change.

He was speaking at the Marine's Memorial Theatre to talk about a new movie, "An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power" premiering Monday night.

The film is a follow-up to "An Inconvenient Truth," which was released a decade ago. The new film focuses on the importance of renewable energy.

Gore was scheduled to attend the red carpet event Monday night at The Castro Theatre for a screening at 7:30 p.m.
