SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- All this wet weather has forced the closure of Angel Island State Park this upcoming weekend.
Park staff found treated waste water overflowing into the park Thursday morning. Now California State Parks officials have closed the park to the public on Saturday and Sunday to allow its water system to recover from the excess storm water.
Crews have re-routed the overflow so it's not in danger of flowing into the bay.
Ferry service has also been cancelled to the park this weekend.
