San Pablo house fire injures 1, displaces 4

SAN PABLO, CA

The one-alarm fire was reported at 4:30 a.m. at a home in the 2200 block of Alfreda Avenue.

Firefighters had the blaze knocked down by 5:52 a.m.

One person was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation and the American Red Cross was called to help four adults who were displaced, the dispatcher said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and a damage estimate was not immediately available.
