Well, the California chapter of the National Organization for Women is thinking something a little different. Today, NOW filed complaints against Hooters restaurants in San Francisco, Sacramento, Orange County and San Bruno alleging that that the establishments violate statutes against exposure of minor children to sexual entertainment.
Hooters says that it's a family friendly restaurant. They have high chairs, booster seats and kids menus. However, they also have kids t-shirts that say "Future Hooters Girl."
Also, in the 1990s, they told the Equal Employment Opportunities commission that their main function is not providing food, but providing "vicarious sexual entertainment."
