The annual commemoration of San Francisco's 1906 earthquake will be dedicated to the Japanese quake victims.

This year is the 105th anniversary of the quake that devastated the Bay Area. Every year, the city marks the moment the quake hit at exactly 5:11 a.m. on April 18. This year, the day of remembrance will focus on the Japanese victims and on the threatened cuts in California's emergency preparedness budget.
