Firefighters found the body of a young girl about 8 a.m. on July 24. Konesha Smith told police she noticed her daughter was missing about noon that day and that she last saw Mariha asleep on the floor of their home about 3:30 a.m.
DNA tests confirmed July 29 that the body found in the burned house was Mariha.
Konesha Smith and other family members were given lie detector tests.
