Police and private security are there as well, making sure vehicles can get through the company gate. The union workers walked off the job December 5, in a dispute over pay and health care costs. About 20 Occupy protesters joined them at the scene this morning and say they will be there all day.
Meanwhile, Occupy Oakland protesters also say they're planning more rallies against police following a Saturday night march that turned violent in downtown Oakland. Police say some marchers broke patrol car windows, threw bottles at them and vandalized a news van. Someone also lit a fire and police say they recovered an illegal explosive equal to a quarter stick of dynamite. There were six arrests.
