The Carters will appear at Oakland's Paramount Theater at 7:30 p.m., where the couple will make remarks and hear musical performances by Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, and En Vogue, organizers said.
The event, which marks the 30th annual Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project, will benefit Habitat for Humanity East Bay/ Silicon Valley and affordable housing projects across the Bay Area.
Tickets range between $35 and $150 and are available online at Ticketmaster.com.
A full day of construction work will start at 8 a.m. on Monday at the Brookfield Court development, located at 9507 Edes Avenue in Oakland, according to organizers.
The Carters will be on-hand with a team of volunteers to work at the Habitat for Humanity site.
Security at the site was bumped up for the visit after eight workers were robbed at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.
A press conference is scheduled to take place at the location at 11 a.m.
The Carters are scheduled to appear at another Habitat for Humanity project in San Jose on Tuesday, before heading to related events in Denver, Colo., New York City, N.Y. and Union Beach, N.J.
