Prosecutors in Oakland now say a 14-year-old boy accused of shooting and killing his older sister in a fight over laundry will be charged as a juvenile, not as an adult.

The boy walked in to the Oakland Police Department Wednesday afternoon to turn himself in.

The teen was wanted in the death of his sister, 17-year-old Justice Toliver, who was shot and killed last week in the apartment the two shared with their grandmother and father in Oakland's Chinatown neighborhood.

Police say he was upset because she bleached some of his clothing.

Justice Toliver leaves behind a 3-year-old daughter.

Her brother's first court appearance is set for Monday afternoon in juvenile court.
