SF police asking for help finding red urn with ashes of dead mother inside

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Police are asking for help finding a suspect and the red urn the suspect took from a home in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood in February, police said.

Police said the suspect entered the home in the 1700 block of 20th Street and stole the urn and other items between the hours of 10:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 25.

The urn contains the ashes of the homeowner's dead mother and the loss has been devastating to the daughter, according to police.
