California DMV bringing back vintage black and yellow license plates

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The classic California license plate is back.

The DMV is rolling out the old black and yellow license plates from the 60s.

The plates run about $50.

The DMV may also bring back out the yellow plates with black letters from the 50s and the blue-and-yellow plates from the 70s once it has enough applications.
