Child hospitalized after car hits mother, stroller in San Pablo

SAN PABLO, Calif. (KGO) -- A baby girl was taken to a hospital after her and her mother were hit while crossing a street in San Pablo Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred in the area of El Portal and Mission Bell Drive in San Pablo around 12:10 p.m.

Fire officials say the woman and the 7-month-old girl in a stroller were crossing the street when they were hit.

The car seat fell out of the stroller and the child was taken to a local hospital.

She was reportedly breathing, but unconscious.
